Why we built FestivalWishHub

Indian festivals deserve better wishes than copy-pasted forwards. We built FestivalWishHub to make every greeting feel personal — written in the right language, tuned to the right relationship, ready to share in seconds.

Walk into any WhatsApp group on the morning of Diwali, Eid or Raksha Bandhan and you'll see the same five forwarded messages, mostly translated awkwardly, often missing the cultural context that makes a wish actually land. We started this project because the person you're sending a wish to deserves a line that sounds like you wrote it — even when you didn't have time to.

What we offer, in plain language

  • 4,800+ handwritten wishes across 50+ Indian festivals — Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, Navratri, Raksha Bandhan, Birthday, Valentine's, Mother's Day and more. Every wish is curated for tone, occasion, and relationship, not auto-generated.
  • 11 Indian languages — हिंदी, English, ગુજરાતી, मराठी, বাংলা, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, தமிழ், తెలుగు, ಕನ್ನಡ, മലയാളം and অসমীয়া. Each rendered in proper native typography (Devanagari, Bengali, Tamil, Gurmukhi…), not transliterated.
  • AI Wish Generator powered by Gemini that writes a unique shayari from a name, relationship and tone — formal, casual, romantic or funny. 15 free generations per day.
  • Photo Frame Studio turns any portrait into a 1080×1080 festival-themed greeting card with one upload. Photo never leaves the browser.
  • Wish Card Generator overlays any wish on a Canva Pro-designed background and downloads as HD PNG — Instagram and WhatsApp ready.
  • Quote of the Day — a fresh quote in your language every morning, with one tap to download a beautifully designed shareable card.

Our editorial principles

Every wish is reviewed by a native speaker before it goes live. We avoid clichés that have lost meaning through over-forwarding ("thoda khaas, thoda aam"-type filler) and look for the lines that feel like something a friend would actually write. When a wish mentions specific cultural details — diyas being lit, the smell of phulkis, the first sip of payasam at a wedding — it tends to land harder than generic well-wishes, and that's the bar we hold every entry to.

We update this library quarterly to keep wishes fresh and add new festivals as readers request them. If you've received a wish that you think should be in our library — or a phrasing we missed — write to us. We take reader contributions seriously, attribute them properly, and the contributors who help us most often get a public credit on their region's festival page.

Privacy, free forever, no signup

Nothing on FestivalWishHub requires an account. Your name, the recipient's name, and any photo you upload to the Photo Frame Studio never leave your browser. AI Wish Generator makes a single API call with the wish prompt; no personal data is stored. The site is monetized only through unobtrusive Google AdSense placements between sections — no popups, no email walls, no premium tier. India's festival wishes should be free, and they always will be on this site.

How to use this site

  1. Pick the festival from the calendar above — by month, category, or the countdown to the next celebration.
  2. Tap a language tab to filter wishes — हिंदी, English, or one of nine regional Indian languages, each in its own native script.
  3. Filter by category (family, friends, romantic, office, funny, formal) to find the right tone for the recipient.
  4. Personalize with AI if you want one written in your voice — add the name, relation and tone, and the AI Studio will produce a unique line.
  5. Make a card — wish + photo overlay or pure text card — and share to WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook with one tap.

Browse the festival calendar below to find the next celebration on your list. If you have feedback or want to request a new festival, language or wish category, the Contact page is the fastest way to reach the editorial team.
